QPE receives certification to AS9100D Aerospace & Defence standard
On May 4th 2021, QPE Advanced Machining Pty Ltd (QPE), a member of the Stärke Advanced Manufacturing Group (Stärke-AMG) achieved AS9100D certification, audited by SAI Global Assurance.
AS9100D is the internationally recognised standard that specifies the Quality Management System requirements for organisations that design, develop or manufacture aviation, space, and defence products.
“This is another milestone for QPE and the Stärke Advanced Manufacturing Group as a whole.” says company CEO Grant Tinney.
“By achieving AS9100D, on top of our existing ISO9001:2015 certification, we can assure our defence and aerospace customers that we have the systems and capabilities to grow with them. We have also contracted SAAB’s Cyber Security Team to support us to gain membership to the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP). We take our sovereign manufacturing capability very seriously and continually look to reinvest in our people, systems and capabilities.”, said Mr Tinney.
